Prataccia di Montevasco estate is situated 500 metres above sea level
between Chianni and Castellina Marittima. By
day there is a marvellous view which encompasses both Corsica and Capraia.
Towards the north Pisa and Apuana can also be seen while to the east,
behind the fortress of Miemo, Volterra shows up as a swathe of ochre. The
low number of visitors we are prepared to receive (maximum 18) allows an
exclusive holiday in 370 hectares of woods, pine forests and plains
inhabited by wild boar, roe & fallow deer, muflon and many other
species typical of the Mediterranean countryside. Depending on the season,
one can engage in the study of these fascinating animals or simply relax
in a milieu far from the hustle and bustle of the city. At the end of a day spent in contact with nature, one can watch the red sun slipping into the sea; a breathtaking finale.
